Many of you have pledged to support the Children's Cancer Foundation by donating an amount of money based on what I earn as a food delivery rider. Thank you!!!! Your support is both humbling and motivating.
We've raised more than 32,000 in donations made to the CCF (20,600) and pledges (11,400) to donate based on how much I earn as a food delivery rider .
This message is to inform you of:
- my earnings so far as a food delivery rider (almost 2000 dollars)
- how much I hope to earn by 1 June (2500 - 3000 dollars)
- my plans to continue this campaign beyond 1 June (and earn 3500 - 4000 dollars)
I also want to tell you that it's OK to donate to the CCF now based on what I have earned so far, if you want to.
I've earned 2000 dollars as a food delivery rider
When I started, I invited you to donate based on how much I earn as a food delivery rider. I said I would earn around 2000 dollars by the time that restrictions associated with the lock down in Singapore were expected to be lifted (which was 1 June). We're still 12 days away from 1 June and I am pleased to tell you that my earnings as a food delivery rider (as of 19 May 2020) are 1960 dollars. I'll ride and deliver this evening and will earn another 50 - 60 dollars which will take me past 2000 dollars.
Of course, the CCF and I will be extremely grateful if you continue your pledge to donate based on what I ultimately earn (see below for guidance). That said, the CCF and I respect your commitment to donate to the CCF based on the initial guidance I gave that I would earn around 2000 dollars as a food delivery rider.

Since I have hit my commitment to earn 2000 dollars a little earlier that I expected, you might want to make your donation now based on my earnings of 2000 dollars.

The amount to donate is based on how much you pledged.
10 cents on the dollar : please donate 200 dollars
20 cents on the dollar : please donate 400 dollars
50 cents on the dollar : please donate 1000 dollars
dollar for dollar : please donate 2000 dollars

I'll keep on riding for a few more weeks. How much longer? I don't know. But certainly for 2 weeks into June.
How much more do I expect to earn?
By 1 June - I expect to have earned 2500 - 3000 dollars. By mid June, 3500 - 4000 dollars.
