Ride with me

Updated: Jun 8, 2020

6 May 2020. Day 15.

Join me as a food delivery rider to raise funds for the Children's Cancer Foundation to enhance the lives of children with cancer and their families.

I've been working as a food delivery rider for charity for 2 weeks. In that time, with the very generous support of many kind people, we've raised more than 20,000 dollars in donations for the CCF.

I would like to invite up to 8 motivated people to join me as a food delivery rider to raise funds for the Children's Cancer Foundation to enhance the lives of Children with cancer and their families.

How does it work?

  1. Sign up / apply for a job as a food delivery rider with foodpanda

  2. Work on weekends and evenings from now until 1 June

  3. Donate 100% of your earnings to the Children's Cancer Foundation

  4. Encourage your friends, family, colleagues and anyone else to support your campaign by donating to the CCF

If you join us, we'll set you up as a rider on this website such that you can promote your campaign. 100% of gross proceeds of your campaign will be donated to the Children's Cancer Foundation direct-to-charity giving facility

Interested? Get in touch.

Note: Only Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents may work as food delivery riders and join this campaign. Click here to support in another way.

Important: We have the utmost respect for the 20,000 or so people that earn their livelihood as a food delivery rider in Singapore and use their earnings to feed, house, clothe, educate and otherwise provide for themselves and their families. We're conscious that our campaign doesn't have a material adverse affect on these people. As such, we will:

  • limit the number of people 'riding for charity' to no more than 9,

  • only work in areas where there is a relative shortage of delivery riders and

  • only work in peak hours when there is a relatively high demand for delivery riders.

By restricting our fundraising efforts in this manner we'll be able to raise money for the CCF to enhance the lives of children with cancer and their families without materially, adversely affecting their earnings of food delivery riders who rely up this job to provide for their families.
